What problem does it address?

A Physical Network is the consept of physicaly connecting multiple
devices to each other so information can move through the network

How does the layer work

Using Fiber Optic Cables, Wifi signals, or RJ-45 eathernet cableing to
physically connect computers, smart phones, servers, etc. that make
up the network. Computers dont need to be connected directly to each
other just a single acess point on the network
